Be MedWise is a public education campaign to promote safe and appropriate use of over-the-counter medicines. The newest phase of the campaign features the results of a new omnibus poll looking at Canadian usages of OTC products and the Be MedWise Prescription for Taking OTC Medicines. Developed by the Canadian Pharmacists' Association (CPhA) and the Drug Information and Research Centre (DIRC), the "prescription" is a checklist of questions about OTC medicine use for Canadians to ask their health-care professional.
